Partnerships in Community Living is pleased to announce that McKenzie Bakke has joined our Senior Leadership Team!
To say McKenzie grew up at PCL is no exaggeration—she literally started her connection with PCL by learning to sit up in a recycling box near her mother’s desk. Technically, she started with PCL 15 years ago, when McKenzie received her first official PCL paycheck on the Yard Crew. She hasn’t stopped building up this organization since.
Throughout her career, McKenzie has demonstrated a strong commitment to our mission and a belief that everyone has a place. She has gained extensive experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and has spent several years in leadership and coordination roles. She now brings that longstanding connection and experience to her new leadership role.
In her new role, McKenzie will help lead PCL’s Southern Oregon services as part of the Southern Oregon Operations Team. Because this transition involves relocating herself and her entire furry entourage across the state, we’ll be pacing her onboarding to give her time to settle in. McKenzie is ready to hit the ground running, support our Southern Oregon team, and keep helping the people we serve live their best lives.
Fun Facts: Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and is working toward visiting all 63 U.S. National Parks, with 18 already checked off her list. She is also working on her fourth McMenamins Passport and enjoys escape rooms, musicals, and giant troll sculptures. She and her significant other share a lively household of seven cats.
