by | Aug 10, 2026 | Newsletter | 0 comments

We’d love to invite you to join us for the grand reopening and ribbon cutting of PCL’s Prisms Art and Community Center. A newly designed and remodeled ADA accessible creative space where art, hobbies, and shared experiences bring people together. The first 20 people who arrive get a free day pass!

September 12th 9am-10am | 215 Main St E, Monmouth

Whether you are here to explore a new passion, celebrate a special moment, or simply connect with others, Prisms is open to everyone. At its heart, Prisms exists to further PCL’s mission and values of inclusion, equity, and social justice—not just for the people we support but for the entire community.

Check out what we have in store:
Pottery studio: Create ceramics on our new throwing wheels.
Dark room: Develop and print black and white film.
Playroom: Bring the kids to enjoy a mini rock climbing wall and swings while you enjoy a class!
Screen Print: Design and make a t-shirt with our new t-shirt making station.
Craft it Up: Use our maker’s space to open a world of creativity with the use of craft supplies, paint, and so much more (included in day pass).
Leather crafting: Create and design a one of a kind leather artwork.

*Prices will vary depending on project/class.

Keep your eyes out for pop-up activities and classes such as paint nights, movie showings, and poetry readings!

At 11:00 AM, we’ll continue the festivities at PCL’s Community Picnic at Monmouth Main St Park. Come grab some food, enjoy the sunshine, connect with community members, and help celebrate our Direct Support Professionals!

We’d love to have you join us for all or part of the day.

Regular Hours: Monday-Thursday 10-4
